The Interruption of the Blog

Hello friends! Keiskamma Canada is sorry to inform you that we are presently discontinuing the updating of our blog until we can manage to maintain it properly. We were very keen to begin the blog initially, but found that, like many small, non-profit organizations, were short on time and energy to continue to update it. We had spread ourselves too thin and did not fully realize what we had embarked upon.

We are immensely grateful to Shawna Lemay for her hard work on our behalf and to many of you who followed her posts. Thank you for supporting the work of the Keiskamma Trust through the Keiskamma Canada Foundation.

We hope to be able to keep you informed of our work in other capacities until we are able to return to the blogsphere. Check out our website for periodic updates and newsletters from SA, as well as information about where and when you can purchase Keiskamma textiles and artworks.

Today's fantastic blog auction piece is this large pillow cover pictured below. The piece is 19" x 19." Here's a map showing Hamburg, a link to birding tours on the Eastern Cape, and a good resource for birding in SA. Here's an extensive list of birds of South Africa on Wikipedia.
